10:00 am - Crossed the Wyoming / Utah state line.  Noon thirty - Salt Lake City, Utah! We stopped at Anytime Fitness to shower and dress.  2pm - Flo rests and Mel lime scoots & barhops downtown. Video coming soon with hella sick art.  6pm- Flo picks Mel up.  Sunset - Great Salt Lake State Park.  Watch our Great Salt Lake State Park Sunset video here. 9pm - on the road again.  11:22pm - Crossed the Utah Nevada state line.  11:30pm - Smith's Grocery for our Burning Man goods.  En route to Fernley, Nevada then on to Black Rock City. 

Noon - THE BUS IS RUNNING!! WOOHOO!!  Flo is coming from Seibert, Co to pick me up in Denver!!  Watch our Day 8 video here. 10pm - Crossed the Wyoming state line, stopped at a rest area and did night skincare routine.  11pm - fueled up in West Larimer, Wyoming.  12:30am - Wagonhound rest area, Elk Mountain, Wyoming. 

 10:15am - Good Morning from Melanie in downtown Denver, Colorado at the beautiful Hotel Monico. I'm currently having breakfast at Panzano.                     Flo is still in Seibert, Colorado (2 hours out) with the bus awaiting three parts and installation.  2:22pm - Melanie visits Denver's oldest bar, My Brothers Bar, 1873.  4:20pm - Melanie gets her nails did.  7:30pm - ubered to Your Mom's House for a drum and bass show but the event was canceled due to the dj canceling. I then looked up live music events and discovered Khruangbin is playing at Mission Ballroom. I ubered over and omg! My driver was the sick bass dj, Mlrtyme. Sooo dope!!!!

Got a bag of ice for the cooler.  Fun Fact: Melanie lived in Pratt, Kansas with her daughter for several months in 2010, spring to fall.  It was a super cute town with nice people.   4:35pm - Oakley, KS at the T & A truck stop. Watch our Good Morning short video here. 1pm - Van Buren, Arkansas. Arrive at Dude's Truck Trailer & Automotive. (The owner is a good friend of the last shops owner, we're in with a network of mechanics).  Dude's They replaced our o2 sensor, she's driving good however the light came back on so we're checking out a few other things. Didn't find anything.  3:18p - leaving mechanics & going to fuel up.  3:45p - We crossed the Oklahoma state line. Wooo! Time for Melanie a margarita.  5:30pm- picnic  Muskogee, Oklahoma Picnic - Outdoor Cooking 7:45pm - pullin' up into Tulsa  Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the cowboys love is. 8:50pm - Pawnee Nation Travel Plaza. Pawnee, Oklahoma. We got some fuel, added some coolant to the bus, & walked around the casino where there was a man singing live.  Stay tuned for more on day 4. We're en route to  Wichita, Kansas.

We're off to get a check up 12:42p - We're at the mechanics getting a check up to be pro active and not end up on the side of the road again like on day 1.  We found an absolutely amazing mechanic / angel, Matt, who changed our fuel filter for us which gave the bus much more power! He even test drove it for us and took us to a cute little ice cream / coffee spot.  If you or your loved one's ever need any maintenance around Wheatley, Arkansas. Hit up the boys over at  Extra Mile Diesel and Trailer Repair . 2:12 - We are back on the road!   2:50 - We realized the gas needle is blow e and it's 10 mins to the next gas station.  Will we make it?! Oh, The suspence! 2:59- We made it!!! Woohoo!! 4:20 - Little Rock, Home Depot. They had the needed mauel water pump!! We're now in business with our water situation!!  5:40pm- Conway, Arkansas.  We woke up well rested at the Economy Inn in McComb, Mississippi. Just before check out we got the call that the new fuel pump had arrived so we checked out and walked two blocks down to Southwest auto. We actually had several heavy bags we were carrying so a very nice old veteran gave us a lift. We made sure to thank him for his service.  We unloaded everything off of the bus so the mechanics could access the fuel pump hatch.  I then left on my little scooter to go grab Flo & I drinks from the store. I went through downtown McComb and across the tracks and back. My arrival back to the bus was perfect as the mechanic was walking off as I rolled up anld the engine was running.  We pulled off at 1:33pm! Yay!!! OMG! 6:30am departure from St. Roch, New Orleans, LA Watch or short video here. We made it to McComb, MS and lost power on the road. Had to get towed to auto shop, stayed at a motel, got free snow cones (yes, it's cones not balls in MS).  I'll edit our day one post with more stories and photos soon.
